


Despite not being a dedicated shooter, fans raised on Halo: Combat. I’ve never played it again in all this time, but the Switch is giving me the chance, so I’m not going to shy away! Metroid Prime is a legendary game, with a 97/100 rating on Metacritic in 2003, one of those games that revolutionized the genre, a metroidvania with a 3D, FPS twist, offering a crazy gamedesign, dynamic combat, well-balanced difficulty, art direction that was really up to scratch, a scenario that wasn’t neglected… everything was excellent.

The game perfectly captures the essence of the original Metroid Prime while elevating it with stunning visuals, enhanced controls, and refined gameplay mechanics. I figured I may as well get the deluxe edition anyways for an. I asked what was included in the deluxe edition but the associate didn’t know. When I got to the till, the associate asked me if I wanted to order the normal version for 50 CAD, or the Deluxe Edition for 65.
